Unfortunately, I didn't get to know your Dad but I am sure he was one of the kindest people on earth, and he raised a wonderful daughter.

We were pretty much inseparable. Although we have lived in opposite ends of the Country for over 50 years our friendship has endured. Sad news of Dave's passing
.Condolences to Carol, Cara , Sarah and family .Dave was an awesome neighbour and friend.I can remember many times he would call and ask if Marlene was working at night and if she was he would go plow his driveway to make sure she got home off the transcanada because of snow drifts , even though he had to work next day ... And he also pro ided the land to build ramps in broadway .He always seemed to have anything you needed in his garage .I used to call him the Mayor of broadway cause he always knew what was going on..you are going to be missed my friend .

I read about Dave’s passing in the Halifax Herald and wanted to send my condolences to you and your family.
I have fond memories of both you and Dave at Teachers College, you were a great couple ! I was taking Physical Education, but knew some of the fellas in Industrial Arts with Dave. Dave had a great sense of humour, an outgoing personality, a quick smile and laugh. Thank you for those memories.

Dear Carol, My condolences to you and your family.It was always a pleasure to run into Dave in the hallways at Dr.J.H.Gillis High School where we taught for many years.He had quick mind and a great sense of humour.May he rest in peace.
