Obituary of Paul Aime LeBlanc

Paul Aime LeBlanc, 81, Avondale, passed away peacefully, Monday, February 10, 2025, in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born in Petit-cap, N.B., he was a son of the late Aime and Suzanne (Allain) LeBlanc. He was an active member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Lismore. Paul was employed with Michelin Tire, Granton for 31 years. Following retirement, Paul found fulfillment volunteering with the Pictou County Food Bank, the Shepherds Lunchroom and helping his children with various projects. He was true to his Acadian roots, proud of his ancestry. Paul was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia on May 21, 2024, which he accepted with quiet strength and courage.  He would often say, “I will kick the can as long as I can”. He was “large as life”, big and strong, although 6 feet tall, his family looked up to him as if he was 10 feet tall! For Paul, “Life has changed; not ended.”
