
Obituary of Timothy Charles MacLean
Timothy Charles “Tim” MacLean, 66, Chance Harbour, passed away peacefully, February 7, 2025, in the Aberdeen Hospital, Palliative Care Unit, New Glasgow with his family by his side.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of James Earl and Olive Jean (Barnett) MacLean. In younger years, Tim worked at the former Hawker Siddeley Trenton Works. He enjoyed riding his motorbike and dressing in the latest fashion. Due to illness, he resided at his family home, enjoying time spent with his father and brothers. Tim was a kind and thoughtful person, always willing to help where possible. He greatly enjoyed his daily trips to Tim Hortons with his brothers and friendly visits with his next door neighbour, Brian Marshall.
Surviving are his sisters, Anna (Graham) Fraser, Jeannie Fancy, Judy (Harvey) Martin, Marilyn (Mike) Falcitelli and Lorraine (Kelly) Bevis; brothers, Robert “Bob” (Rose) MacLean, Parker (Carol) MacLean and Ricky MacLean; many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by infant brother, Fraser MacLean; brother John MacLean; niece, Marjorie Sutherland; nephews, Mark and Aaron MacLean and, Jeffery MacKenzie.
A private family service will held at a later date.
