Obituary of Pauline Jean Holmes

 

Pauline Jean Holmes, 63, Priestville, passed away peacefully, Monday, April 21, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

 

Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Everett Asa and Marion Winnifred (Pennington) Smith. In earlier years, Pauline was employed with the former Woolco Strawberry Fair, New Glasgow and with East Side Family Restaurant, New Glasgow prior to illness. Pauline enjoyed traveling to the Dominican Republic with family and friends. She will be remembered for her wonderful smile and beautiful spirit.

 

Surviving are her husband of 42 years, Fraser Alexander Holmes; daughter, Ashley Holmes, New Glasgow; son, Fraser (Krystal) Holmes, Little Harbour; grandchildren, Presley Holmes, Leah Jones and Asa Holmes; sisters, Judy (Terry) MacLeod, Priestville; nephew, Kevin MacLeod, Priestville.

 

In keeping with Pauline’s wishes, her family will celebrate her life privately.
