Obituary of Elizabeth Della Rose Dupuis

Elizabeth Della Rose “Liz” Dupuis, 74, New Glasgow, passed away surrounded by her daughters, Wednesday, May 28, 2025, in the Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care Unit, New Glasgow.

Born in New Glasgow, she was the daughter of the late John Seward and June Agnes (Fraser) Livingstone.

Cherished and beloved Mom to Melissa MacLeod, Jeanette (Brad) Rector, Mary MacLeod, and loving Nana to Micaela MacLeod, Joshua and Kyle Rector. Also, pseudo-mom to many others.

Her selfless kindness earned her the love and respect of everyone she met. Her family brought her immense joy, and her passing leaves a profound void in the lives of her loved ones and friends. Her warm hospitality ensured no visitor left her warm and cozy home empty-handed.

A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, June 2  in Abercrombie Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating.

Closest to moms’ heart were her grandchildren.  If desired, donations may be made in Liz’s memory to her grandchildren.
