Obituary of Jeremey Tyrone Mills
Jeremey Tyrone Mills, 17, Linacy, passed away peacefully Friday, June 6, 2025, in the Aberdeen Hospital, Palliative Care Unit, New Glasgow, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of Vanessa Mills and the late Adalai Quentin Mills. Jeremey was a Grade 12 student at North Nova Educational Centre, New Glasgow from where he was to graduate on June 26. Jeremey was born with medical challenges which never “brought him down”. He never let how he felt remove the permanent smile from his face. He was an avid gamer, preferring PC gaming to console, playing with online friends throughout the world. When his health permitted, he enjoyed going out to eat with his friends. However, he always reminded his mom that her mac-and-cheese and tacos were the best. Jeremey possessed a “big heart” and will be best remembered for his inner strength. Perhaps best summarized by his cousin, “if Jeremey was into superheroes, he would make superman look like a wimp”.
Surviving besides his mom, Vanessa, are sisters, Brittany Davidson, Westille; Kholbi Mills and Meranda Mills, New Glasgow; Marla Mills (Dylan Best), New Glasgow; Brittany Davidson, Westville; brothers, Dwain Mills and George Mills, New Glasgow; nieces and nephews, Austin, Shayla, Khian, Kynlee, Sophia, Liam, Bryson and Alayah; maternal grandfather, Ron Clyburn (Rose Fraser), Sydney; maternal aunts, Dora (Stanley) Murchison, New Glasgow; maternal uncle, Ronnie (Tracy) Davidson, Middle Sackville; maternal granduncles, Archie (Ruby) Davidson, West River and Scott (Kim) Davidson, Westville; paternal aunts, Rhonda Smith, New Glasgow; Beverly Borden, Park Land, Alta.; Trudy Mills, New Glasgow; Grace Mills, New Glasgow; Anne Jewell, New Glasgow; paternal uncles, Guillio (Kristy) Mills, New Glasgow; Shawn Mills, New Glasgow; many cousins.
