Dearest Dorrington Family, My sincere condolences to you all. I cannot begin to express how much your mother (and father) have meant to me over the years-- far beyond my time as their pastor. The Dorrington household was one where I was always welcomed and loved. I have enjoyed many lovely teatimes and meals prepared by Sis. Frances. And of course, her famous date squares were the best! I continue to carry the memories of the joy and laughter I experienced with your parents in my heart. Because of your great love for your mother, you may weep and mourn for a time. My prayer is that your memories strengthen you as you find comfort in God's presence, remembering this promise from Revelation 21:4 that tells us of the time that God will wipe every tear from our eyes.
