We have had so many good memories with Audrey she was a loving soul , her and Nickie loved their drive to Bear River they chatted the whole drive he loved showing off his Sonic tie he was going to wear in Aunt Heather and Dave's Wedding what a time we had. It was Audrey's first time to Bear River she made herself right at home started baking as soon as step out of the van she loved to bake and everyone enjoyed eating it. She played washer toss on a camping trip with us she never played before her team won we always had so much fun, Love to all the family and Thanks Audrey for the memories. Cathy, Neil and family

Audrey welcomed me into her heart and family as her daughter-in-law. She was a wonderful mother-in-law and grandmother to my two sons (Charlie and Craig). We always enjoyed visiting and spending time with her and of course who could forget her cooking and treats. Her smile, warm heart and kindness reached many as she was always busy baking and giving back through her church. Audrey showed grace, perseverance and strength throughout her life as she navigated loss and challenges and in doing so teaching us all to rise above and push through. Audrey's family and friends know how lucky and honored we were to have been a part of her life. Audrey will be missed in person, but forever remembered in our hearts. Love Toni.

My deepest sympathy to the family . Audrey was a precious person, humble, generous and so , so kind. She called me ‘the other Audrey’ and it was a wonderful thing to share a name with someone like her. Through youth events and Geddie events, we shared many laughs and deep conversations. Her spinach salad dressing was infamous any time she cooked at Geddie! I am grateful and richer for knowing her. My prayers are with you all.

My grandmother Audrey Hodder, known was Nanny Audrey to all of her grandkids, was a very kind, compassionate, generous, thoughtful, caring, considerate and friendly individual to everyone she came across in her daily life. Nanny Audrey was a guiding light to many people in her life. She possessed a profound strength and heart full of unwavering kindness, touching everybody she encountered. Nanny Audrey taught everybody around her the importance of family. After my father passed on, she had many conversations with me emphasizing the love of family and the admiration of friends is much more important than wealth and privilege. Growing up in Maine, she would send us care packages around Christmas that would include cookies, jams, pickles, fudge and many other things for us to enjoy that she prepared. It was always great coming up to Nova Scotia, she was ready for all of us to be around at her house.
Nanny Audrey was a shining light in our family, and to everyone who knew her. She never gave up when difficult tides came to shore. She understood the more storms we encounter as human beings in life, the stronger we will be, she held on and became a strong person overcoming many things in life. She made me understand believe we can always do something, and we are part of the way there. She reminded me never to give up on pursuing our dreams because great things take time. Nanny Audrey in her own way sought to have others understand being humble means recognizing that we are not in this world to see how important people can become, but to see how much difference we can bring to other peoples lives.
Nanny Audrey, you held all of us together in your life. Now, may you rest in the embrace of love and peace you so graciously gave to all of us. I will always cherish you and be grateful for the times we had together.

My grandmother Audrey was a kind, compassionate woman cherished by all who knew her. Growing up Sundays meant church and heading back to Nanny’s, where she welcomed us with open arms. She loved having guests. Her house was always the heart of family gatherings—Christmases, Thanksgivings, Easters, birthdays, and countless visits.
She knew the way to a person’s heart was through food, she poured so much love into every meal and dessert. More than that, she taught me compassion, always caring for others and helping the community. I will always admire how humble she was, she never sought recognition, everything she did was out of love.
She was with me from the very beginning of my life and remained a constant source of love. I will always be grateful for the time I got to spend with her.
