Obituary of Deborah Ann Keeler

 

Deborah Ann “Debbie” Keeler, 71, Stellarton, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2025 in the Aberdeen Hospital, Palliative Care Unit, New Glasgow.

 

Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Chester Fulton and Annie Elizabeth (Turner) Quinn. Debbie loved going fishing, playing bingo and cards with her family, however,  her pride and joy was spending time with her grandsons, Lincoln and William. 

 

Surviving are her husband, Basil,; daughter, Shandina (Sandy) Livingstone, New Glasgow; grandchildren, Lincoln and William; sisters, Nancy (George) MacFarlane and Carol MacLean; brothers, Melvin Quinn and Ron Quinn ; sisters-in-law, Carol Quinn, Krista Quinn, Gerry Quinn and Linda Quinn; many nieces and nephews.

 

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sister, Beatrice in infancy; brothers, Art, Lloyd, Bert and Curt; nephew, Wade Quinn; brother-in-law, Donald MacLean.

 

The family will receive visitors 10-10:50 a.m. Wednesday, October 15 in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home from where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating.  Interment will be in St. Bee's Cemetery, Westville.

 

Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Pictou County Palliative Care Society.
