Obituary of Timothy George Bezanson

Timothy George “Tim” Bezanson, 62, Westville, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, October 21, 2025, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Russell Herbert and Gertrude Eileen “Chick”    Bezanson. Tim was employed with Michelin Tire, Granton, for 30 years prior to retirement in 2014.  He was an avid hunter and fisher, who enjoyed spending time in the outdoors.  Carpentry, gardening and lending a helping hand was an extension of his kind and caring spirit.  Tim was a loving husband, father and brother who will be dearly missed by those he loved.

Surviving are his wife, Anna Marie Campbell; sons, Lee Bezanson and his sons, Jaxon and Samuel, Edmonton, Alta.; Bobby Bezanson and his sons, Blake and Russell, New Glasgow; Avr. Tyler Campbell, and fur babies, Charlie and Pumpkin, Westville; sister, Shirley (Gerald) Porter, Kentville; brother, James (Kristy) Bezanson, Pictou; several nieces; many cousins.

The family will receive visitors 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, October 23 in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, October 24 in the chapel with Deacon Sander Burke presiding.  Cremation to follow with private interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, New Glasgow.

Donations may be made in Tim’s memory to the Aberdeen Health Foundation Palliative Care Fund.
