Obituary of Tim Snell

Claude Timothy “Tim” Snell, 66, Walkerville, went to be with his Lord, Wednesday, December 3, 2025.

Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Keith John and Shirley Helen (Purvis) Snell. His enjoyed a 45-year career in building supplies, he worked at Hector Building Supplies for Donnie and Jillian Sexton up until two weeks before his passing. He loved, trusted and respected everyone he worked with. Tim lived his life with kindness, faith, and a good heart.

Surviving are his wife and soulmate of 36 years, Crystal (Sarson); siblings, Cathy (Lionel) Arbuckle and Virginia (James) Crawford, Foxbrook; Dena (Russell) Green, Hopewell; Betty (Ricky) Patterson, Westville; Paula (Tim) Morgan, Trenton; Jacki Bailey, Halifax; sisters-in-law, Susan Snell, Walkerville; Kim (Lorne) Rogers, New Glasgow; Stacey (David) MacLeod, Plymouth; maternal aunt, Betty Purvis, Walkerville; maternal uncles, Graham Purvis, Pine Tree; Wilbur “Moon” Purvis, Springville; Roy (June) Purvis, Thorburn; numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sister, Valerie Bailey; brother, Neil Snell; many aunts and uncles; father and mother-in-law, Robert and Hazel (Earle) Sarson.

The family will receive visitors 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Saturday, December 6 in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, December 7 in the chapel with Rev. Gail Johnson Murdock officiating.  Interment will be in Springville Cemetery.

Donations may be made in Tim’s memory to Springville Cemetery.
