Obituary of Walter Bruce Cameron Jr.

We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of Walter Bruce Cameron Jr. on January 31, 2026 in Calgary , Alta.

Born in New Glasgow on March 9, 1971, Walter was a son of  Walter Bruce Cameron Sr., Chance Harbour and the late Gail Patricia (Cotton) Cameron. 
Growing up Walter was raised in chance harbour ns where he attended school in Trenton,  played hockey, dirt biking, chasing girls and friends and memories for life..

Walter lived “out west” for more than 20 years, where he built lifelong friendships with so many great people, had brother hood with his cuz, Randy and best friend, Tim.  Whether it was with friends or family, we had years filled with chaos, stories, and memories that will never be forgotten, and maybe never told.

Walter was looking forward to reconnecting with many friends and family on the east coast  this year .

Walter is survived by his father, Walter Bruce Cameron Sr.; daughter, Brooke Johnstone; grandchildren, Emmett, Mia and Amari; sister, Carla (Derek) Rocca; nephew, Louie Cameron. 

He was predeceased by his mother, Gail Cameron; son, Ethan Cameron.

We laughed saying we were "lone wolfs" but it was our little pack. Now you’re with the biggest pack. Till we meet again Bro.
