Obituary of Ken Llewellyn
William Kenneth “Ken” Llewellyn, 71, Glen Haven Mannor, New Glasgow formerly of Trenton, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2026, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Oakley Cameron and Florrie Amelia (Miller) Llewellyn. Ken was employed with Michelin Tire, Granton, for over 33 years, a career he thoroughly enjoyed. He possessed a keen interest in computers and spent many hours educating himself. Ken adored his feline and canine pets. Although he cherished his solitude, he was quoted as being a “wonderful neighbour”. During the past two years, Ken established many new friendships with residents and staff at the Manor. He will be dearly missed by all those he loved.
Surviving are his daughter, Wynter (Cory) Connors and their children, Brynn and Ella, Halifax; sons, James (Sandra) Llewellyn, Saint John, N.B.; Kenny Llewellyn Jr., Truro; sister, Rhonda (Greg) Hanula, Toronto, Ont.; brothers, Scott (Dawn) Llewellyn, Fall River; Darren Llewellyn, Hillside; many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by infant sister, Mary Louanne Llewellyn; nephew, Noah Llewellyn.
In honour of Ken’s wishes, his family will celebrate his life privately.
Donations may be made in Ken’s memory to Cat Rescue Maritimes (CARMA), Pictou County Chapter.
