Obituary of Andrew Louis Dupuis

Andrew Louis Dupuis, 96, Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow, formerly of New Glasgow and Stellarton, passed away peacefully, Sunday, March 15, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born in Stellarton he was the son of the late Louis and Renee (Dassonville) Dupuis. Andrew “Andy” was a hard-working man and spent most of his work years in the tire industry with Clarke Tire. He also worked as a coal miner, Thompson Bros. Roofing and Siding, and other odd jobs. In later years, Andy enjoyed being a crosswalk guard on  Sanborne Street and Willow Avenue.  Andy was a well-known accordion player in earlier years playing throughout Pictou County with his best friend, Johnnie James playing guitar. Andy also loved a good game of darts and a cold beer at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 28, Stellarton. He looked forward each year to fishing and camping in Boylston Park with his family. In 1950, Andy married the love of his life, Marjorie Elizabeth Kehoe and together they raised three children.  Andy will be remembered for his quick wit, sense of humour, resilience and love of family.
