Obituary of David Raymond Settle

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of David Raymond Settle, 68, Chance Harbour, on June 25, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Keith and Gladys (Bailey) Settle.

Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Deborah (Graves); sons, Ryan (Dominique), New Brunswick; Aaron (Courtney), Halifax; brother, Daniel (Jennife) Settle; brother-in-law, Paul Graves; niece, Dr. Madison Graves; nephews, Devon Graves, Luke Settle and Caleb Settle.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Kathy Ann Ross and brother, Christopher Settle.

In keeping with David’s wishes, a private graveside service will be held in New Brunswick.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Cathy Felderhof, the Palliative Care Team and the VON for all their care and support.

If desired, donations may be made in David’s memory to Maranatha Bible Church, New Glasgow of which he was a member.
