Obituary of James William O'Hara

James William “Jim” O’Hara, 83, Valley View Villa, formerly of McLellan’s Brook, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, June 30, 2026.

Born in McLellan’s Brook, he was a son of the late Marie (Swain) O’Hara, the last surviving member of his immediate family. Jim was employed in the forestry industry for many years.

Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Nina Mae (Smith) O’Hara, McLellan’s Brook; daughter, Marie Anne O’Hara (Dave Walsh), Woodburn; sons. Roy Allen (Sherri) O’Hara, McLellan’s Brook, and their children, Crystal, Devon and Brett; Grant (Leah) O’Hara, Westville, and their son, Nolan.

Jim’s family wish to thank his Valley View Villa family for the extraordinary care he received.

In honour of Jim’s wishes, his family will celebrate his life privately.
