Pat and I met when I was 9 years old at Flashing Blades Figure Skating Club. He was witty, funny, always had a smile and a joke and was up for a good prank on all occasions. He had an abundance of patience like no other! He was a perfectionist of his craft and never minded me singing Happy Birthday to him! It was always a treat to bump into him and reconnect. He was a mentor and friend. No matter where he was in his forgetfulness, the ice shows and pizza party brought him back briefly . you will be missed by many, my long time friend , my willow dancer friend.
