Obituary of Leamund Edward Knickle

Leamund Edward Knickle, 58, Little Harbour, formerly of Linacy, passed away peacefully, Sunday, August 2, 2026, in the Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care Unit, New Glasgow.

Born in New Glasgow he was a son of Beatrice Jean (Tate) Knickle and the late Leonard Alvin Knickle. Leamund was an avid NASCAR fan, following Jeff Gordon's career for many years. He never missed watching a race with his good friend, Kevin.

Surviving besides his mother, Beatrice “Bea” Knickle, Valley View Villa, Riverton, are his sisters, Vinetta (Everett) Porter, Halifax; Becky (Reggie) DeCoste, Monastery; brother, Leonard (Pat), Kings Head; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father, Leonard and nephew, Lennie.

In honour of Leamund’s wishes, his family will celebrate his life privately.
