STELLARTON – John “Wayne” Marr, 60, Stellarton, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow with his loved ones by his side. Born in Canso, he was a son of the late Raymond and Margaret (Barry) Marr. He was employed as a Truck Driver for over 20 years, enjoyed going to the legion, attending dances, camping, and watching his favorite teams the Montreal Canadiens and the Toronto Blue Jays. Surviving are daughters, Stephanie (Ryan) Matthews, Halifax; Kenda Revalls (Ryan Burtt), Toronto; son, Dave (Katelynn Kirk), New Glasgow, girlfriend, Wendy Rogers, Stellarton; brothers, Steve (Ashley) Bellefontaine, Stellarton; Joseph (Marie) Marr, Westville, Dennis (Jen) Marr, Toronto; grandchildren, Jacer and Jaylynn; numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his step father Joseph Bellefontaine. The family will receive visitors 10 – 10 :50 a.m. Friday April 20, 2018 in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home Chapel, New Glasgow until funeral service at 11 a.m. with Father Colin MacKinnon presiding. Donations may be made in Wayne’s memory to Canadian Cancer Society.
