Obituary of Isabel Alta Hayman

NEW GLASGOW - Isabel Alta Hayman, 79, New Glasgow, formerly of Trenton passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at her daughter’s home in Egypt Road, surrounded by her family. Born in Glenfallock, Pictou County she was a daughter of the late, Frank and Ann (McGuigan) Marshall. She was a member of the St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, New Glasgow. Isabel was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Surviving are her children, Douglas (Beryl), Moncton; Darlene (Ron), Egypt Road;Ricky(Julie), Saskatchwan; grandchildren, Jonathan, Shannon, Shane, Devon, Ricky, Nathan, Josh, Ralph; six-great-grandchildren; sisters, June Wylie, Marion Kay, Trenton; sister’s-in-law, Barb King, Margie Atwater; brother-in-law, Hughie Hayman; cousins, Mary Lennon, Donald McGuigan, Alice MacDougall and Winnie Grey; many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her, husband, Webb; sister, Rose Higgins; brothers, Dawn, Lewie, Doug, and Glen; uncle, Vince (Agnes) Mc Guigan. The family will receive visitors 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8 in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9 in Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, Trenton with Fr. Donald Boudreau presiding. Interment will follow in Christ the King Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations may be made in Isabel’s memory to the Aberdeen Health Foundation Palliative Care Unit Endowment. (click on link to donate online now)
