Obituary of Norma Elizabeth Dupuis

NEW GLASGOW – Norma Elizabeth Dupuis, 61, New Glasgow, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, surrounded by the love of her life, Les and friends, Cindy and Lesa. Born in Ontario, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Hannah (Mason) Dupuis. She moved to New Glasgow seven years ago. Norma enjoyed cooking and baking – her cream cheese cinnamon cookies were “to die for”. Her kitty cats, Licorice and Naomi were her “pride and joy” and her special canine friend, Sophie was her “furry friend”. Norma was employed at Web.com and had been previously employed with Convergys and the former call centers in Antigonish and Canso. Surviving are her boyfriend, Les MacKenzie, New Glasgow; son, Rob; several sisters and brothers in Ontario; best friends, Lesa LeMay (Norman Kelly), Linacy; Cindy Melanson, Stellarton; Kim Amiro, New Glasgow. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Anita. In keeping with Norma’s wishes a celebration of her life will be held 7-9 p.m. Thursday, May 16th in the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 34, 39 North Provost St, New Glasgow.
