To all the family: I just want to say that I had high personal regard for Ross dating back to the time I was attached to Bethany United Church in Halifax as a theological student. It was when I was attending Pine Hill Divinity Hall during the 68 - 69 school term and I was so appreciative of the quality of his sermons that I taped some of them. May you receive God's comfort and blessing. Alfred Woodworth

To the Family of Rev. Ross Hamilton My name is Roberta d’Entremont (nee Russell). I grew up in Bethany United Church in Halifax. I really admired Rev. Ross Hamilton. When it came time for me to get married, I was marrying a Catholic, (which in 1970 was a Huge Deal!). I dearly wanted to get married in Bethany so I went to Mr. Hamilton and he was so supportive. With a lot of arrangements we were married in Bethany by a priest with Rev. Hamilton assisting. It was a beautiful ceremony! 44 years later I am glad to say that we are still happily married and respect each other's religions. I always have been so proud and grateful to Rev. Hamilton. With My Deepest Sympathy Roberta d’Entremont

Rev. Hamilton baptized me in 1968 at Bethany United Church in Halifax. He also gave the eulogy at my Grandpys funeral in 1977. I have a photo of Rev. Ross Hamilton in my Grampys living room in Kline Heights. I remember him as a wonderful person who was very kind and who always made me smile. My prayers are with all of his family and friends. I will remember him fondly.
