WINDSOR/NEW GLASGOW – Mary Treca Hattie, 75, Windsor, formerly of New Glasgow, passed away Friday, August 26, 2011 in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Upper Musquodoboit Valley, she was a daughter of the late Morris Colin and Ann Eunice (Chaplin) Arnold. She was a member of Christian Fellowship Church, New Glasgow. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Surviving are her sons, Morris and Blair, Halifax; Darren (Tina), Wolfville; grandchildren, Logan, Morgan and Samantha; brothers, Elroy (Diane), Lake Charlotte; Hughie, Musquodoboit; Cyril, New Glasgow; Bernie, Halifax; numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Harold William Hattie; sister, Sylvia Brougham. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday, August 28th and, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, August 29th in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 30th in the chapel with Rev. Bruce Morrison officiating.
