Obituary of Audrey Pauline Coady

NEW GLASGOW – Audrey Pauline Coady, 67, Valley View Villa, Riverton, formerly of New Glasgow, went to be with her Saviour, Saturday, January 26, 2008 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with illness. Born in Goldboro, she was a daughter of Anna Bell (Smith) Crooks, Haven Brook Manor, Riverton and the late Kitchener Russell Crooks. Pauline was never idle. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Surviving besides her mother, Anna, are her husband of 46 years, William “Will”; daughter, Wendy (Bill) Muirhead, Stellarton; son, Paul, New Glasgow; sister, Joan Livingstone, New Glasgow; brother, Donald “Don” (Peggy) Crooks, Cornwallis; granddaughters, Molly, Anna Marie and Ashley; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel with Mr. Stan Allan officiating. Interment will be in Lorne Street Cemetery, New Glasgow. Donations may be made her memory to the QEII Health Sciences Centre Foundation Brain Repair Centre or the Aberdeen Hospital Foundation.
