Obituary of Morgan Darlene Leil
Morgan Darlene Leil, 11, Linacy, passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 9, 2008, as a result of a motor vehicle accident.
Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of George Jeffery and Robyn Darlene Leil, Linacy. She attended Frank H. MacDonald Elementary School, Sutherland River, where she played on the Frank H. MacDonald Dolphins basketball team. She enjoyed swimming, skating, crafts and shopping. Morgan was a loving daughter and a special big sister. She was a social butterfly, who touched the heart of everyone she met.
Surviving besides her parents are her brothers, Ryan and George, at home: maternal grandparents, Charlene (Bruce) Fraser, Linacy; paternal grandparents, Cathy (John) Sheehan, Frasers Mountain; George Sr. (Louise) Leil, Valley: maternal great-grandparents, Kimball and Jean Lucas, New Glasgow; Mable and Louis Fraser, Trenton; paternal great-grandmother, Pauline MacDonald, Frasers Mountain; uncles, Ryan Leil (Kaylin Comeau), Frasers Mountain; Roger Lucas, Robert Fraser, New Glasgow; many grandaunts and granduncles; numerous cousins and friends.
She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Kimball Joseph Lucas; maternal great-grandmother, Patricia Lozon; maternal great-grandfather, Clark Frosst; maternal great, great-grandmother, Thirza Frosst; paternal great-grandfather, John H. MacDonald; paternal great, great-grandparents, James and Laura Leil; cousin, Keigan Lucas.
Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, August 13th in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, August 14th in First Presbyterian Church, New Glasgow, with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Interment will be in Woodburn Cemetery.
