Obituary of Cheryl Florence Leil
TRENTON – Cheryl Florence Leil, 58, Trenton, passed away peacefully Friday, January 11, 2013 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, surrounded by her family.
Born in Toronto, Ont., she was a daughter of the late Lewis Richard and Helen May (Smith) Marshall. Prior to retirement due to ill health, she was employed with Walmart, and in earlier years had been employed with Trenton Park and North Nova Seafoods. Cheryl enjoyed playing bingo, cards and going shopping with her friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.
Surviving are her daughter, Linda Leil (Robert Grenon), Brinston, Ont.; sons, Richie (Tammy) Leil, Scotsburn; Steven (Sonya) Leil, Little Harbour Road; brother, Gilbert Marshall, Westville; grandchildren, Davey, Jordan, Courtney, Tyler, Travis, Jorden and Bradley; several aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive visitors 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13th in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14th with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating.
