Obituary of Tena Mable Fraser
LINACY – Tena Mable Fraser, 69, Linacy, passed away, Saturday, April 5, 2008 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, surrounded by her family.
Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Harry Garfield and Violet Mae (Sangster) Gosbee. She had operated Tena’s Hair Salon for several years. She enjoyed gardening, collecting recipes and cookbooks. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.
Surviving are her husband, Robert A. C. Fraser; daughter, Tena (Robert) White, MacLellan’s Brook; son, Robert L. (Janet) Fraser, Sutherland’s River; grandchildren, Kyle, Jerry, Chelsea, Stephen, Robbie and John; sisters, Joan (James) Stewart, Telford; Ruth (Bill) MacLeod, Kenzieville; Alice (Garfield) Dunn, Salem; Barb (Doug) Smith, Mount William; brothers, Henry Gosbee, Riverton; Lawson Gosbee, Westville; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by sister, Elva O’Connor; brothers, Ward and Wesley Gosbee.
Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. today in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Interment will be in Kenzieville Cemetery.
Donations may be made in her memory to the Aberdeen Palliative Care Society.
