Obituary of Mark Robert Earl MacLean
CHANCE HARBOUR – Mark Robert Earl MacLean, 46, Chance Harbour, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at home following a brief illness.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of Robert Earl MacLean and Beverly Norma (Greene) MacLean. Mark could “turn his hand to anything”. He cherished spending time with his one-year-old son, Malachi, teaching him to ride a bike and dance. Mark possessed a “heart of gold”, “do anything for anyone” and “help you if he could”. He enjoyed dancing, being outside, especially the solitude of riding his four-wheeler for hours. For Mark, “Life has changed; not ended!”
Surviving are his mother, Norma (Elwood Reid), New Glasgow; father, Robert MacLean, Chance Harbour; son, Malachi Chapman, Stellarton; sisters, Gail (David) Dwyer, Chance Harbour; Kelly MacLean (Tim Wolfe), Westville; Lacey MacLean (Braedon Byrnes), New Glasgow; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; several cousins.
In honour of Mark, his family will celebrate his life privately.
