NEW GLASGOW – Vera Charlotte MacPhee, 74, New Glasgow, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2012 in the VG Site, QEII, Halifax. Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Francis Norbert and the late Harriet Roletta (Jones) Connors. Vera had been a homecare provider for many years. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Stellarton. Vera enjoyed watching baseball, reading books and doing puzzles. Surviving are her sisters, Daisy Connors, New Glasgow; Judith Connors, Plymouth; brothers, Daniel Connors, Brandon, Man.; Keith (Joan) Connors, Prince George, B. C.; Blaine (Debra) Connors, Westville; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors 10 – 10:50 a.m. Monday, Dec. 31 in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home Chapel, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. with Father Donald Boudreau presiding. Interment will be in Our Lady Lourdes Cemetery, Stellarton.
