Obituary of Lloyd Joseph Boudreau
NEW GLASGOW – Lloyd Joseph Boudreau, 64, New Glasgow, passed away, Friday, April 10, 2009 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of Margaret Alice “Peggy” (Pelly) Boudreau, Valley View Villa, Riverton and the late Elmer Anthony Boudreau. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, New Glasgow. He had been employed with the Chignecto Central School Board as a School Bus driver. Lloyd enjoyed following current events in the newspapers. At home, he was always accompanied by his cat, Ben.
Surviving besides his mother, are his wife of 41 years, Eva Carol (Facey); son, Dr. Michael Boudreau, Fredericton; sisters, Ruth (Paul) Fahie, Hubley; Janet Baldwin (Arne Tuft), Langley, B.C.; brothers, Ronald Boudreau, London, Ont.; James “Jim” Boudreau, Lawrence (Susan) Boudreau, Halifax; Stewart (Sherry) Boudreau, Dartmouth; sister-in-law, Diane (Luke) DuMont, Pointé Du Chene, N.B.; brother-in-law, Wayne Facey, King’s Head; several nieces and nephews.
Besides his father, he was predeceased by brother, Donald in infancy.
There will be no visitation or funeral service at Lloyd’s request. A private family graveside service will be held in Church Brook Cemetery, Little Harbour, at a later date.
