Obituary of Evelyn Charlotte Perry
SPRINGVILLE – Evelyn Charlotte Perry, 74, Springville, passed away suddenly, Friday, April 14, 2017 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Springville, she was a daughter of the late David William and Dorothy Evelyn (West) Sutherland. Evelyn was employed for several years with the former Heather Motor Hotel, Stellarton. She actively supported her community, helping where possible. Evelyn’s
kindness extended beyond her family. Her family were foremost in her life. She loved each one of them dearly, leaving a rich legacy of devotion and selflessness. Evelyn will be dearly missed by those she loved.
Surviving are her husband, Frederick J. “Fred” Perry; daughter, Darlene (Jim) Asprey, St. Albert, Alta.; son, Mark (Brenda) Crossan, St. Albert; grandchildren, Adam (Wendy), Shaun (Akreeti), Alex (Christine), Carl and Jason; great-grandsons, Cooper and Rylan; brother, Hugh (Florence) Sutherland, Springville; several aunts and uncles; many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Stanley and Hector.
In keeping with Evelyn’s wishes, a private family gathering and service will be held.
