MULGRAVE/ALMA - Ann Marie Moore, 69, Alma, formerly of Mulgrave, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, December 15, 2021, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Antigonish, she was a daughter of the late James and Mary Kathleen (Ryan) Moore. She was a member of St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, Mulgrave. Ann was a hard-working lady who loved spending time with her family and friends. She thoroughly enjoyed smoking LD Standard cigarettes and drinking strong cups of tea. Ann enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, especially her only granddaughter, Jonni. For Ann, “Life has changed; not ended!” Surviving are her daughter, Cathy Gillis, Alma; sons, James Gillis (Roxanne), Barney’s River; Dougall Maldre, New Glasgow; grandchildren, Cortlin, Nolan, Marcus, Jesse and Jonni; sisters, Leotta, Lorraine, Stella and Rosalee; brothers, Frankie, Rickey and Clarence; many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sister, Jean; brother, Gordon. A celebration of Ann’s life will be held 1-3 p.m. Saturday, December 18, 2021, at her late residence.
