We wanted to share our condolences with Alexander's family. It is never easy to have to say goodbye to a loved one. The pain of loss can be unbearable. Our Creator promises us that one day this pain will be just a memory. That beautiful promise can be found at Revelation 21:3,4. Our pain and suffering will be a thing of the past, and we can cry tears of joy as we welcome back the ones that we love so much. We hope you find comfort in those promises.

A true friend of the family. I very fondly recall as a child walking up the road from my grandfather's house (Col. J G Robertson) to visit A.D. and Mae and the cows—although, not necessarily in that order! As a child I remember always feeling his and Mae's welcoming nature and 'salt of the earth' kindness. As an adult I grew to appreciate his dry wit and keen insights. A life very well lived! [photo: A.D. and Mae with my brother David, 2007)
