I am sorry to hear about Uncle Russell’s passing. During our most recent trips back home to Nova Scotia my wife and I made it a priority to visit with Russell and Betty and we are grateful for those last few visits. While he had many admirable qualities, I personally found inspiration in Russell’s hard work and entrepreneurial endeavors. Whether it was raising and selling turkeys after work and on weekends to make a few extra dollars as a young husband and father, starting an electrical supply business soon after his retirement or producing the woodworking products he became known for in the later part of his life, Russell’s hard work and business savvy saw him accomplish as much with his part time and post retirement pursuits as many of us do with our full time jobs and careers. I was proud to have him as an Uncle.
