Obituary of Emma Julia Murray

NEW GLASGOW – Emma Julia “Julie” Murray, 60, New Glasgow, passed away, Saturday, November 24, 2007 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow surrounded by her loving family. Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of Emma Julia (Beniot) Campbell, New Glasgow and the late Daniel Roderick “Dan” Campbell. She was a member of St. Gregory’s Roman Catholic Church, New Glasgow. Julie enjoyed watching the soaps, listening to music and taking care of animals. She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Surviving are daughters, Rhonda (Barry Snell) Davis; Michelle (Victor) Wood, Stellarton; Julie (Robert) David, Pictou; sons, Danny, Darrell (Brenda), Phillip (Tanya), Michael, New Glasgow; Troy, Ottawa; sisters, Marie (Donnie) Davidson, Toronto; Sharon (Martin) Gracie, New Glasgow; Jane (Graham) Heron, Trenton; Beatrice “Bee” Chisholm, New Glasgow; Darlene (Brian) Trites, Sydney; Lorraine Campbell, New Glasgow; brothers, Danny (Beth), Trenton;Howard(MaryAnn),Stellarton;18grandchildren;4step-grandchildren;3great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Charlie Murray; daughter, Edna Jean in infancy. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today & 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, New Glasgow with Father Colin MacKinnon, presiding. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in her memory would be gratefully accepted by her family
