NEW GLASGOW – Jacob “Jack” Stuiver, 67, New Glasgow, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2009 in the Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care Unit. Born in Haskerland (Joure), the Neitherlands, he was the son of the late Hendrick and Anigje (Buvrsma) Stuiver. He was a self-employed entrepreneur, have been involved in several business ventures. In honour of Jack’s wishes, there will be no gathering or ceremony. If desired, donations in his memory may be made to the Pictou County SPCA.
