Obituary of Kyle David Chambers

ABERCROMBIE/HALIFAX – Kyle David Chambers, 35, Halifax, formerly of Abercrombie, passed away suddenly Wednesday, August 7, 2013. Born in New Glasgow on May 29, 1978, he was a son of John David Chambers and the late Annie Grace (Fleming) Elliott. Kyle was a certified scaffolder and had worked in Alberta for a number of years. He enjoyed fishing and playing golf, however, his greatest passion was music. Kyle loved his family and friends. Surviving are his father, John (Ann) Chambers, Foxbrook; step-father, Bob Elliott, Bridgetown; sisters, Jennie Chambers, Foxbrook; Jamie (Robert) MacLean and their children, Chloe and Jesse, Calgary, Alta; paternal grandmother, Joyce Chambers, Alma. Besides his mother, Annie, he was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Robert Wilbur and Margaret Grace (Farnell) Fleming; paternal grandfather, Ross Chambers. The family will receive visitors 6-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12 in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13 in the chapel with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Interment will be in Abercrombie Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations may be made in Kyle’s memory to Canadian Cancer Society. (Please click to donate online.)
