Obituary of Charles Thomas Cypher
NEW GLASGOW – Charles Thomas “Chuck” Cypher, 69, New Glasgow, passed away peacefully, Monday, July 30, 2012 in the Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care Unit, following a lengthy battle with cancer.
Born in Antigonish, he was the son of the late Charles Thomas and Mary Agnes (Chisholm) Cypher. Chuck was a professional truck driver and enjoyed many trips across Canada and the United States.
Chuck is survived by his loving wife, Carole (Power), who has been a constant source of support during the arduous battle with cancer. Surviving also are his children, Charlene (Jackie) Lefort, Cornwall, P.E.I.; Gemma (Jene) Gallant, Barrie, Ont.; Chuck Cypher, Fairmont and Allan Cypher, Antigonish; grandchildren, Jesse, Robyn-Lynn and Casey Cypher; Jordan and Hailey Gallant; Dylan MacDonald; great-granddaughter, Hailey MacDonald; many nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation at Chuck’s request. A private graveside service will be held.
Carole and family wish to thank Dr. Aires, nurses, support staff and volunteers of the Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care Unit for the exceptional care they and Chuck received.
