I was sorry to hear of Alex's passing. I knew Alex from work at Michelin tire. He was one of the finest men I have ever met. A very quiet man but took time for everyone. He will be missed by all who knew him.

To all the family, I am so sorry I couldn't be there for Uncle Alex's Celebration of Life. He was like a brother to me! He lived with my parents and I when he came up to New Glasgow as a young man. He was a wonderful storyteller, loved fishing and hunting, travelling, telling 'yarns', and he was a fine Christian man who was an example for us all to follow. Our families have been close all throughout the years, my father and Alex hung out a lot together. We will certainly miss him. My children sure loved to hear all the funny stories between him and Watson (100's of times ha ha) Miss you Uncle Alex, Love Charlotte

Dear Shirley,Leanne, Patti. Michael and Jeffrey &Family: We were so sorry to hear of Alex's passing. He is in glory now with Irma and other family members that have gone on before and I am sure he will come across Dad in his Heavely travels and they may even get in a glory fishing trip. We will always remember Alex as a quiet and friendly neighbour who you could always count on for a helping hand if you needed one. We are so sorry that we are unable to attend the viewing or funeral because of work obligations but please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all now and in the days to come. May God give you all the strength you need to get through these days and rest in the knowledge that Alex is now with the Lord. Take care and God Bless you all.
