RIVERTON – Donna Catherine Wilson, 61, Riverton, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at home with her son, Jamie, by her side. Born in Truro, she was a daughter of Edna (McNutt) Byers and the late Elmer Taylor. From a young age, Donna enjoyed music, especially country, and she shared her love of music with her sons. Recently, she began to teach herself to play the guitar and she always had a great singing voice. Donna was kind to animals and always had a pet in the house, most recently, her fur baby, Buddy. She possessed a “big heart”, was kind and compassionate. Her selfless devotion to her children was boundless. Donna leaves a rich legacy of love. Surviving besides her mother, Edna (Jim), are her husband, Joseph “Joey” Wilson, Linacy; sons, Stephen (Mikaela), Stellarton; Michael, Halifax; Jamie (Deandra), Riverton; grandson, Gabriel; sisters, Maxine, Debert; Theresa, Pictou; several nieces and a nephew. Besides her father, Elmer, she was predeceased by brother, Lawrence Taylor. Her family will celebrate her life with a private funeral service.
