Obituary of June Agnes Livingstone
NEW GLASGOW / RIVERTON - June Agnes Livingstone, 84, Riverton, formerly of Brother Street, New Glasgow, passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Valley View Villa surrounded by the love of her family.
Born in Stellarton, she was the last surviving child of the late Andrew and Frances M. (Flemming) Fraser. She was a member of St. George’s Anglican Church, New Glasgow.
Surviving are her devoted husband of 64 years, John S. Livingstone; loving daughters, Dianne (Sandy) Kellock, Plymouth; Elizabeth “Liz” Dupuis, Westville; Andrea MacLeod, New Glasgow; she was nanny to grandchildren, Rand Kellock, Calgary, Alta.; Mary MacLeod, Salem; Melissa MacLeod, Pirates Harbour; Jeanette (Brad) Rector, Westville; Rachel MacLeod, Halifax; great-grandchildren, Riley , Lauren and their mom, Tracy (Miller) Kellock, Micaela DeCoste and Joshua Rector; nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Billy, John “Brickey”, Duncan and Donald; sisters, Bridgie Turnbull and Casmir “Cas” Shipley; oldest grandchild, Harley Kellock (November 14, 2009); son-in-law, Gordon MacLeod.
Cremation has taken place.The family will receive visitors 2 - 2:45 p.m. Sunday, September 5th in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow, from where funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Bill White officiating. Interment will follow in Abercrombie Cemetery.
