Obituary of Judy Emily Perry
EGERTON – Judith Emily “Judy” Perry, 66, Egerton, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, February 23, 2016 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, surrounded by her family.
Born in Pictou, she was a daughter of the late Frederick James and Lois Evelyn (Greene) Betts. Judy was a member of Merigomish United Church and lifetime member of the UCW. She enjoyed bowling with the Shore Road League. Judy possessed a “heart of gold”, enjoyed a good joke and was devoted to her family. She will be missed by all who loved her.
Surviving are her husband of 42 years, Earl; daughters, Amanda (John) Murray, Durham; Nicole (Donnie) Hutton, Lower Sackville; son, Jason (Donna) Perry, Egerton; sisters, Sheila (Bill) MacDonald, New Glasgow; Kathy Betts, Halifax; Marina McAleese, Pictou; Jerry Betts, Pictou; grandchildren, Dylan and Emily Perry, Kristen and Jake Murray; several aunts and uncles; many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brother, Murray; a brother in infancy; niece, Karley MacBain.
The family will receive visitors 6-8 p.m. Friday Feb 26th in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home from where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday Feb 27th in the chapel with Rev. Jim Webber-Cook presiding.
