Obituary of Theodore Jason Dean
BARNEY’S RIVER STATION – Theodore Jason “Ted” Dean, 42, Barney’s River Station, passed away tragically, Sunday, August 21, 2016 at home, as the result of a house fire.
Born in Antigonish, he was a son of Susan (Dean) Ward, MacPherson’s Mills and the late James Angevine. Ted was a self-employed carpenter and mechanic. He enjoyed playing guitar and listening to music, Harley Davidsons and socializing with his friends. Ted’s girls and family were his life. He was a loving, father, son, brother, uncle and friend.
Surviving are his soul-mate, Vicki Hecimovich; daughters, Phebe (12) and Felicity (4); sister, Charlene (Ross) Lees, Egerton; brother, Shawn “Skip” (Lorie) Angevine, Bridgeville; nieces and nephews, James, Paige, Samuel, Hope and Faith; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Besides his father, he was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Oakley and Mamie Dean; paternal grandparents, Walter and Mary Angevine; several uncles, aunts, cousins; several friends.
The family will receive visitors 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday August 25th in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday August 26th in the chapel with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Interment will be in MacPherson’s Mills cemetery.
