Obituary of Margaret Agnes Fraser

PICTOU LANDING – Margaret Agnes “Peggy” Fraser, 73, Pictou Landing, passed away Friday, February 8, 2008 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Thunder Bay, Ont., she was a daughter of the late Robert and Nancy (Watt) Potter. She was a member of the Atlantic Ministry of the Deaf, and the Pictou County Deaf and Hard of Hearing Committee. Surviving are daughters, Susan Fraser (Glenn MacLeod), Pictou Landing; Deborah White, Halifax; son, John “Billy” Fraser (James Rogers), New Westminster, B.C.; sister, Pat (Jack) La Plante, Parksville, B.C.; grandchildren, Chas (Cindy), Angela, Robbie, Stephen, David and Cole; great-grandchildren, Charlie, Chastity, Christena and Ethan. She was predeceased by her husband, John William Fraser; sister, Kay McClusky; brother, Robert “Bobby”. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday in Trinity United Church, New Glasgow with Ms. Lori Crocker, Diaconal Minister officiating. Donations may be made in her memory to the Aberdeen Palliative Care Society. Arrangements are entrusted to P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
