NEW GLASGOW – Emily Mae Hatch, 66, New Glasgow, formerly of River John, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2009 surrounded by her family in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Tatamagouche, she was a daughter of the late Sanford and Anna (Langille) Hatch. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be sadly missed by daughters, Catherine Jardine (George Rockey), New Glasgow; Linda (Everett) George, Antigonish; Sandra Williams, New Glasgow; son, Mickey (Karen) Williams, New Glasgow; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary (Carl) Kneebone, Ontario; brothers, John (Irene) Hatch, New Brunswick; Herb (Bonnie) Hatch, Ontario. The family will receive visitors 7-9 p.m. Thursday, October 22nd in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow. A private graveside service will be held in the Hamilton Cemetery, River John at a later date. Family flowers only. Donations in her memory may be made to the Pictou County SPCA or The Lung Association of Nova Scotia.
