Obituary of Jessie Annabel Robertson
LOWER BARNEY’S RIVER – Jessie Annabel Robertson, 81, Lower Barney’s River, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at home, surrounded by her family.
Born in The Glen, Pictou County, she was a daughter of the late James Macumber and Lulu (MacKay) Lavers. Annabel also worked on the family farm while looking after her two children and disabled husband. She was a strong supporter of the Progressive Conservatative Party and had attended many conventions. Every Friday, Annabel completed the Chronical Herald lexicon puzzle while enjoying a cup of Maxwell House coffee. Annabell was generous to a fault. She possed a strong maternal instinct. Her family came first.
