Today, August 29, I learned the sad news of Lynn's passing. I was fortunate to have worked at Lynn's school for eight years and got to know her quite well. She was so perfect in so many ways. Always cheerful, often laughing, she was such a pleasure to be around. I knew she was not well many years ago, but just recently, i was wondering how she was doing. Then To my great dismay I found out she had passed and I had no knowledge of it, else I would definitely been there to pay my respects. She was an easy lady to love and most people did love her. Though I hadn't seen her for years, it is sad to know that she is gone. I will cherish my memories of Lynn forever. RIP, my friend.

I was deeply saddened to learn today of Lynn’s passing. I have many memories of years ago when my late husband, the Rev .Alex, led the Youth Group in Barney’s River Presbyterian Church, and the wonderful times shared with the families there, of which Lynn was a treasured member. Her battle of recent years was fought with grace and courage.. May the fãith we share be a solace and source of hope in the days ahead.

Lynn and I graduated the same year from East Pictou. We came from similar backgrounds going from a one room school to a consolidated school. She was such a lady and always had a smile and kind words for everyone she interacted with. After graduation I saw her on rare occasions and she was always that warm caring and positive individual. The last time I saw her was at our reunion in 2016 and although she had health issues her positivity and smile were forefront during that time. She was an inspiration to anyone she interacted with throughout her life’s journey and a very positive kind person. My condolences to her family. Know that her spirit and memories will live on in all of us who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Please accept my condolences on the passing of Lynn (Mrs. Williams to me). She was a supportive and kind friend to so many students at Thorburn School. I was one of those students. She made my best friend, Joan Wood, and I her "helpers" when we arrived from our tiny ERSM school to the "big school" of Thorburn in grade 5. I hope it gives you strength knowing she is remembered with fondness by so many former students.

Dear family of Lynn, I was very sad to read of Lynn’s passing this morning. I taught in Thorburn over a four year period and got to know her while there. I often said that she could run the school by herself as she was always aware of everything going on around her busy desk in the office. She was devoted to the students and the wider Thorburn community. I always appreciated her humour and her calm and quiet nature especially during extra busy and hectic times at the school. After I left Thorburn school I would often run into Lynn at concerts, festivals and musical events. She would always ask about my kids and wanted to know about their musical pursuits and performances. She was always the same quiet, gentle lady and I had enormous respect for her. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. My deepest sympathy is extended to her husband, sisters and family. She was the best of us!
