Obituary of George Wayne Buell
George Wayne Buell, 67, Winnipeg, Mann., passed away January 30, 2022, in Mississauga, Ont.
Born in New Glasgow, he was the son of the late Lloyd George and Margaret Jessie (Brimicombe) Buell. He was a long haul truckdriver for the past 46 years, a career he thoroughly enjoyed. In earlier years, he was employed with the former Evening News, New Glasgow and Hawker Siddeley, Trenton. Wayne enjoyed being on the road and having conversations with the people he met. He was a “big teddy bear”, he possessed a “heart of love” and would do without to ensure someone else was looked after. He will be dearly missed by those he loved.
Surviving are his daughters, Michelle (Michael) McParland, Valley View, Northern Ireland; Carmella Buell, Fort St. John, B.C.; Melissa Nippert, Winnipeg, Man.; son, Michael (Crystal) Falcon, Fort. St. John, B.C.; several grandchildren; sisters, Lynn (Bill) MacKenzie, Westville; Lee (Charles) Keough, New Glasgow; Gail (Michael) MacKenzie, Abercrombie; Carol (Dave) Watling, Elgin; Janice (Jamie) O’Brien, Westville; Dawn Buell (Lee Fraser), Hopewell; brothers, Brian, Stellarton; Kenny, New Glasgow; Darrell, Stellarton; David (Margie), Springhill Junction; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sister, Dale Baudoux; brother-in-law, George Baudoux.
In honour of Wayne’s wishes, he will be interred in Abercrombie Cemetery with his mother and father.
