Obituary of Gordon Kimbyl Reid
PLYMOUTH – Gordon Kimbyl “Kim” Reid, 61, Plymouth, passed away, Wednesday, April 1, 2020 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in New Glasgow, he was the son of the late Gordon Leslie and Evelyn May (Little) Reid. Kim was an electrician. He was a motorcycle enthusiast, especially, Honda dirt bikes. Kim enjoyed a strong relationship with his parents and greatly respected the wisdom and knowledge he learned from his father. He enjoyed the outdoors and appreciated the opportunities that life had afforded him. For Kim, “Life has changed; not ended!”
Surviving are stepdaughter, Bonnie (Chris) Chisholm, Stellarton; grandchildren, Michayla Davidson and Skylar Chisholm; sister-in-law, Darlene MacLean, Bridgeville;
brothers-in-law, Albert (Jill) MacLean, Surrey, B.C.; George (Marion) MacLean, Springville; Robbie MacLean, Bridgeville; many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Jessie Catherine “Cathy” (MacLean) Reid.
In honour of Kim’s wishes, he will be interred with his parents in Hardwood Hill Cemetery, Sydney.
