Our thoughts and prayers are with Mabel and her family during this very sad time. Father Gerard celebrated our marriage at St. Margaret of Scotland Parish in Arisaig in 2002. He is also a family relative on my mother's side of the family. Ever since our marriage in 2002, Fr. Gerard and Mabel continued to mail us Christmas cards each year. We always looked forward to hearing from them both. Fr. Gerard was a wonderful priest and human being, and will be dearly missed. We are very sad to learn of his death. May he rest in peace.
